New App based Transportation Network launched in Assam


Guwahati: In a bid to make transportation easier, a new app-based transportation network in Assam (Transportation vehicle Aggregator) named ferry9 has been launched in Assam.

The App is designed for the benefit of multiple transportation vehicle types including Taxi (cab), Tempo (Auto Van), and Mini Truck. This is the first app-based transportation network of its kind where the goods carrying vehicles will also be benefited and users can find and book any vehicle they need using their Smartphone very prompt and easy.

The services of ferry9 are being launched simultaneously in four cities of Assam – Guwahati, Tezpur, Jorhat, and Dibrugarh.

Later, the services will be extended to other cities of the state. Unlike the other services like UBER and OLA, the service charges for the use of ferry9 network have been kept very low.

Vehicle owners will be charged Rs.10 only per booking irrespective of the vehicle type and the fare amount. Vehicle registration to ferry9 is currently free of charges (no joining fee for vehicle owners).

Users (riders and transportation service seekers) can download the ferry9 application from Google Play Store and register with ID and password very easily and avail the services anywhere in the four cities. Fare structures for the user are also kept competitive and hassle-free.
