Facebook dark mode

Facebook has finally introduced the much-anticipated Dark Mode on its revamped and immersive desktop app for all users across platforms. The Dark Mode promises to help billions of users to enjoy lower brightness, along with contrast and vibrancy. It also minimizes the screen glare for use in low light.

“The new immersive layout along with Dark Mode makes viewing videos on Watch a great experience,” Facebook said in a statement. Dark Mode is also available on Facebook Messenger as well as on WhatsApp.

As is the case with mobile experience, this new desktop website is faster as it has streamlined navigation, and it is also very easy to find videos, games and Groups. Not only this, the home page and page transitions load faster with this new feature.

“Easily create Events, Pages, Groups and ads on Facebook. Preview a new Group you’re starting in real time, and see what it looks like on mobile before you create it,” said Facebook.

“So we did on-the-ground research, spending months talking to people about how we could make the web experience better for them. Now we’re excited to deliver the new site, a great new foundation for the next decades of Facebook.com.” the further added.

How to enable Facebook dark mode on desktop
