Is this even possible?
In its latest round of updates, popular social messaging app WhatsApp allows users to send messages to contacts even without saving their names. There’s the ability to share images, videos and stay in touch with your family and friends securely.
People might still not be convinced that this can be possible, but here we present a step-by-step guide on how you can send a WhatsApp message without saving the number on your smartphone.
Open web browser
Open the web browser and then type/paste ‘https://api.WhatsApp.com/send?phone=number’ in the Address bar of your phone’s browser.
Enter phone number of recipient
Now, enter the phone number of the person in the place of “number”, along with the country code.
Remove extra characters
Get rid of any zeroes, brackets or dashes when adding the phone number in international format. We do not need any extra characters.
Now, the number which you have pasted should have a WhatsApp account. Now, proceed to click on “Message” button.
New chat box opens
A new chat box opens and you will now be taken to the WhatsApp with a chat being open for the said contact.
With this new feature, the hassle of adding new contacts to send a message can be done away with and anyone can send messages and share images videos.
