WhatsApp Stickers update: Huge changes coming to change your chat experience

WhatsApp is working on a new doodle UI which is very similar to Instagram and its doodle drawer

Another update coming soon from WhatsApp? If reports are to be believed the latest WhatsApp beta update v2.19.110 for Android OS has been seen with few more improvements made to the platform’s doodle UI.

This was reported by WhatsApp beta tester WABetaInfo and as per this, the instant messaging app will be doing away with current emoji stickers in the doodle drawer in order to include official emojis. So what this effectively means is that after this update, WhatsApp will soon be seen with the latest 3D-ish emojis instead of flat, 2D emojis.

This improvement is not available to all beta testers, but since this is not a very significant update, it won’t be long for it to be rolled out all beta testers and for the general users. In a separate development, it was learnt that WhatsApp is also working on integrating Animated Stickers to chats. This feature is being tested on Android, iOS as well as the Web app.

Also, WhatsApp is working on a new doodle UI which is very similar to Instagram and its doodle drawer. So what this effectively means that the doodle will be rolled out with a separate tab for stickers and emoji. Once introduced, the different stickers will be differentiated into Favourites and Category, which will make it easy for the user to find sticker one wants to use.

Another significant improvement which is in the pipeline is that WhatsApp is trying to improve the Authentication feature where the user can only use the fingerprint to authenticate and access. Also, in the near future, WhatsApp will also block chat screenshots which would put an end to capturing screenshots if this feature is enabled.
