Spotify has brought in a slew of offers for its users to cater to the lockdown worries. The music streaming company has extended its free premium trial subscription to three months from the existing one month. This free one-month offer will be a trial period which will now last for three months.

The free three-month trial subscription will be available until June 30 for individual, student, couple (Duo), and there are also family plans. For Indian users, individual, family as well as student plans are available.

Spotify has brought back the annual prepaid plan which is available at Rs 699 for one year. A discount of 51 per cent has been applicable on the same plan. It needs to be said here, that in the initial days this particular offer was available at Rs 1189. This plan will also be available until June 30, as per Spotify’s website.

Understanding the plans:

With these new plans, the annual plan can be availed at 51 per cent when pitted against the monthly plan which comes at Rs 129 for Premium Subscription. For one day, the Premium Subscription comes at Rs 13 and for one week, the same plan can be made available at Rs 39.

Now, if we see, for one month, this plan comes at Rs 129. For three months, it comes at Rs 389 and for six months, it can be availed at Rs 719.

Spotify is also offering a family plan with a validity of 3 months. With this offer, 6 premium accounts for family members can be availed at Rs 179 per month for prepaid users.

Users can also cancel their subscription anytime. The biggest selling point of the plan is that one account, as many as six members can use the account. And, there are parental controls provided with the plan.
