Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has finally rolled out the third generation of its APEX concept smartphone – Apex 2020. The smartphone manufacturer was expected to launch the smartphone at MWC 2020, but owing to the coronavirus outbreak, the company has revealed the device via an online stream.
“Through Apex 2020, we are proud to see Vivo’s vision come to life as a technology company that continues to push the boundaries of mobile technology and explore what lies beyond the ordinary,” Harry Hong, General Manager of Product, Vivo said in a statement.
“It also showcases our ambition to achieve our aspirations step-by-step. vivo will continue to put Apex’s innovative technologies into practice, allowing more consumers to be empowered by such technology,” Harry further added.
What are the features?
The phone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor which will be paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device will also have a 6.45-inch FullView display, with the edges which will bend at an angle of 120-degrees on both the sides.
There will also be a 16MP selfie camera right into the display and will also come packed with the combination of 48MP+16MP dual camera set up at the back.
If we take a look at the front camera it has a 4-in-1 super-pixel photosensitive chip and there is also a gimbal-like structure packed into Apex 2020’s main camera.
The phone also supports ‘Wireless Super FlashCharge 60W’ with the aim that it recharges the phone with a 2000mAh battery in only 20 minutes.
