Honor 30 set to launch: Key camera details revealed

Honor is all set to launch Honor 30 on April 15. This phone has been in the works and it has been rumoured with a 50-megapixel camera. A new report says that the rumours of a 50-megapixel camera is indeed true and it will be launched with a Sony IMX700 sensor.

As per a GSMArena report, this new sensor will be a custom one from Sony and it will be equivalent to what’s offered on Huawei’s P40 series. There is another new information about the Honor 30 which says that the phone will come as many as three cameras. This module had a rectangular design and will also have dual LED flash.

What are the specifications?

There are also several other minor leaks and as per this, there are availability of 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, and metal side edges. The phone will be available in China for a starting price of CNY 2,399 which equates to Rs 25,500 approximately.

The phone will comes with 5G connectivity and chugs along on Kirin 820 processor. It has a 6.5-inch full HD+ display. There is also a 16-megapixel camera, housed in the punch-hole module on the display.

The phone comes with four cameras and it has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Also, there is 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage.

Honor 30S is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast charger support.
