The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie and is backed by a 4000mAh battery with Xcharge fast charging technology
Infinix S5 Lite – the latest phone from the Transsion Holdings brand – was launched in India on Friday, November 15. This phone has been teased for a while on Flipkart and the design and specifications of the model were also dropped. Infinix S5 Lite will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting November 22. It is made available in Quetzal Cyan, Violet and Midnight Black.
As per the teaser page, the Infinix S5 Lite will have a triple rear camera setup, although earlier it seemed like there were four sensors. Also, there is a fourth cut-out at the back which could well be the autofocus sensor, but we will wait for the phone to be actually released. However, what is confirmed is the fact that the phone will have a hole-punch display and this makes it the cheapest phones with this display format.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset and also there is an IMG GE8320 650MHz GPU. It also has 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage and the memory can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie and is backed by a 4000mAh battery with Xcharge fast charging technology.
Also, what is confirmed is that the Infinix S5 Lite will have a 16-megapixel front camera sensor which will be placed in the selfie camera cut-out placed on the top left edge of the display. The phone will be launched in Green and Black gradient finishes at least. The green variant back panel finish is said to be inspired by the ‘starry night sky’.
The Infinix S5 Lite will be a notch lower than the Infinix S5, and hence, there should be downgrades made to the processor, battery, RAM, or camera.
