The design is very same to what Apple had done with the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 that had a more boxy shape.

iPhone 12 series has seen a number of leaks over the past few days and these leaks have ranged from the specifications to all the production issues to live videos of the phone. One of the latest in the line of leaks has been a video which has shown the back panel without any internal hardware of the iPhone 12 Pro which as the new LiDAR sensor placement.

There is also another leak which says that the iPhone 12 series has already gone into mass production this week and well, the rumoured 120Hz refresh rate display has not been able to make the cut.

So, we start with the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro’s back panel and as per a short clip shared by tipster with the pseudonym EverythingApplePro on Twitter, showed that there is a LiDAR sensor placement, flat sides, smart connector, as well as various cut-outs.

Also, there is a space for the wireless charging coil which is visible. The design is very same to what Apple had done with the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 that had a more boxy shape. Now, there is a triple camera setup which can be shared in the video and it looks to similar to what came with the iPhone 11 Pro₹ 99,599 and the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The SIM card tray looks as it has moved to the right side of the phone. As per the leak, Apple will be fitting the LiDAR sensor in both the Pro models and not merely at the top-end iPhone 12 Pro Max, which the previous leaks said.

There are other reports which suggest that the iPhone 12 models will come with wireless charging and that they will be the first generation of iPhones to come with strong magnets which will move the phone into the optimal position which is perfect for charging when it is placed on a charging pad. Essentially, this will allow the phone to align itself perfectly to the right spot on the wireless charging pad which will ensure fast charging.
