itel on Monday rolled out a new entry-level smartphone in India. This phone will be called itel A47, and it will be available starting February 5 via Amazon India for ₹5,499. The phone comes in Cosmic Purple and Ice Lake Blue colours.

The smartphone will come with a 5.5-inch display with HD resolution. The screen has an IPS panel and 18:9 aspect ratio.
As far as performance is concerned, it will have a 1.4GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB built-in storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot that supports expandable storage up to 32GB. There will be a 3,020mAh battery powers the phone. On the software front, it runs Android 9 Pie (Go Edition).
If we speak about the camera, the handset offers a dual-camera setup on the back. It has dual 5MP AI camera. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie camera with soft flash.

The itel A47 has a dated design, and there are thick bezels on the front and 18:9 aspect ratio. On the back, the phone comes with dual cameras and an LED flash that is placed in a vertical strip, two colour options with gradient designs, a speaker grille, and a physical fingerprint sensor.
The volume rocker and power button could be on the right, while the microUSB port is on the bottom. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack which is placed at the top. The phone will come with a textured finish for good grip. The front camera is placed on the top bezel above the screen.
