Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 8.1 could now be in line where it will receive the latest version of Android. The two phones were spotted on Geekbench running Android 11. As per reports, the update should be made available to users later this month.
According to Nokiamob, Nokia 8.3 5G recently received the Android 11 update. It should be mentioned here that the Nokia 5.3 had launched in August last year. Nokia 8.1, on the other hand, had made its debut in 2018. The Nokia 8.3 5G was launched in September last year.
There was another Nokia-related news, where an entry-level Nokia 1.4 phone was in the works. It was spotted by leakster Sudhanshu, the upcoming Nokia 1.4 has the model number TA-1322. The phone will come in grey and blue colour options. It will come with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. The upcoming Nokia 1.4 has been priced at Euro 100 ( ₹8,800 approximately).
As far as Android 11 goes, smartphone companies are introducing the latest version to users. While most of the rollouts have been smooth, there are issues which have also surfaced. Recently Mi A3 users complained that the Android 11 update was bricking their units.
“It has come to our notice that a few users of Mi A3 are facing issues with the OTA update for Android 11. While the rollout has been stopped already at our end, our teams are working towards resolving the issue at the earliest. Customer experience is our topmost priority and we regret the inconvenience caused. We will keep all our users updated on the next steps,” said Xiaomi after user complaints.
