Oppo has now reduced the price of the A12 smartphone in India. This budget-range A-series smartphone from Oppo is now available for Rs 500 less in the offline market. The Oppo A12 was rolled in India back in June last year for a starting price of Rs 9,990.
Now, with the latest price cut, the base variant of Oppo A12 will be available for Rs 1,500 cheaper and the top memory variant is reduced by Rs 1,000.
Earlier, the A12 saw a price cut of Rs 1,000. After the recent price cut, Oppo A12 will be more appealing to customers but despite this, it will be difficult for the smartphone to make a splash in the many options quad-camera devices in this range.
Oppo A12 price
As per a report, the Oppo A12 3GB RAM and 32GB storage version is now priced at Rs 8,490 when it is bought from retail stores as well as offline shops. At the same time, the other variant that comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage now costs Rs 10,990, as opposed to the previous price of Rs 11,490.
The original prices of the two models stands at Rs 9,990 and Rs 11,990, respectively. The Oppo A12 comes in Blue and Black colours.
Oppo A12 specifications
The Oppo A12 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ display and it has a notch at the top. It is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top and features an aspect ratio of 19:9. It will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor and will be coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This storage can be further expanded via microSD card by up to 256GB.
As far as the camera is concerned, Oppo A12 comes with a combination of two cameras at the back – 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It has a 5-megapixel selfie camera that is housed in the waterdrop-style notch.
It will be powered by a 4230mAh battery and it supports the regular charging speed. It has the 3D Diamond Blaze design on its rear panel.
