Oppo A94 with MediaTek Helio P95 SoC goes official

Oppo has launched a new smartphone under its A-series which has been called A94. This phone has been listed on the company’s official UAE website. However, there is no word on its price and sale date as of now.

Oppo A94 will measure 160.1 x 73.2 x 7.8mm and weighs around 172 grams. It will come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 90.80% screen-to-body ratio, up to 180Hz touch sampling rate, as well as a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

Flip the phone, and the Oppo A94 will have a quad-camera setup. This configuration comes with a 48-megapixel primary sensor along with one ultrawide, macro, and monochrome sensors. On the front, it will have a 32-megapixel sensor with an 85-degree field of view, 5P lens, and f/2.4 aperture. A number of camera modes are AI Color Portrait Video and Dual-View Video.

“AI Color Portrait Video intelligently highlights your subject’s natural colours while turning the background black and white, creating amazing shots that allow anyone to be the centre of attention,” Oppo revealed on its website.

Dual-View, according to the name, and it allows users to shoot from the rear and front cameras simultaneously.

As far as performance is concerned, the phone relies on MediaTek’s Helio P95 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. It also has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. There is a 4,300mAh battery that powers this phone and it also comes with 30W Vooc charging support.

If we take a look at the connectivity, Oppo A94 has Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS and dual-SIM support. Several other features of the phone include Face Unlock and an in-display fingerprint reader.

Earlier this year, Oppo had launched a 5G-enabled Oppo A93 in China. This phone was launched with a 6.5-inch full HD+ display, 90Hz refresh rate, and Snapdragon 480 processor. Also, the A93 comes with a 48-megapixel primary sensor (quad-camera setup) and a 5,000mAh battery. It also has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. The handset has been made available for a starting price of ₹22,500 approximately.
