Oppo is all set to launch the new K series phone in China on November 4. With just a couple of days left for the official launch, a number of details about the phone has surfaced.

Spotted on Geekbench benchmarking website (via Mysmartprice), Oppo K7x will run on Android 10 out-of-the-box. The listing reveals the phone has 8GB of RAM and also comes with an octa-core processor, most likely MediaTek’s 720 5G chip.

On Geekbench, Oppo K7x has netted 511 points on single-core test and 1,644 on the multi-core test. The benchmark scores hint at mid-range capabilities of the phone.

There is also separate Weibo post that reveals the phone will have an LCD panel and 90Hz refresh rate. As per a TENAA certification, Oppo K7x will run on a 5,000mAh battery. It will have a 6.5-inch full HD+ display. If the leaked renders are anything to go by, the phone has a punch-hole camera on the front as well. The screen is also said to offer up to 180Hz touch sampling rate.

The phone will also have a four-camera setup on the back that will consist of a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The module comes with an LED flash. The upcoming Oppo phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

As per rumours, Oppo will be working on a new premium phone that will run on a lighter version of Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 875 chip. Called the Snapdragon 870 chip, the lite processor will have 3.2GHz CPU which means that it will be more powerful than current-gen chips.

An Oppo executive has earlier hinted at a phone which has a lite version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 875.
