Oppo launches its first smartwatch – Looks like Apple watch, find details and specifications


Oppo has launched its Find X2 smartphone series and it will be make its debut right along the new series of phones. It was earlier seen in a number of teasers that that the that Oppo’s smartwatch looks very similar to an Apple Watch clone and well, it is also called the ‘Oppo Watch’.

If we see the display it is very similar to the Apple Watch and would most likely mistake it for one. However, there is one big difference which is the rotating crown and this is replaced by two side buttons on the Oppo Watch. Also, there is no ECG which is the standout feature on the Apple Watch Series 5.

As far as specifications are concerned, Oppo Watch features a 1.6-inch AMOLED display. The smartwatch is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 2500. And it is also packed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. It will have the LTE support via an eSIM and it extends support to NFC as well.

Now, the watch also comes with the usual health features which include heart rate sensors, exercise modes, menstrual cycles as well as sleep monitoring. It is powered by a 430mAh battery with VOOC flash charge support. It runs on ColorOS Watch software.

The watch will be launched in two different sizes  – 41mm and 46mm and a stainless steel edition as well. In China, Oppo Watch 46mm comes at a price of CNY 1,999 (Rs 21,400 approx) and is available in black and rose gold.

The Oppo Watch 41mm is priced at CNY 1,499 (Rs 16,100 approx) and is available in three colour options of black, white and pink. There is also the stainless steel edition of Oppo Watch and this one is the most premium as it is priced at CNY 2,499 (Rs 26,800 approx).
