OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G India launch has been now been officially teased by the company on Twitter. If we jog our memories, the handset was unveiled in China back in December alongside the standard Reno5.
Now, the OPPO Reno5 Pro launch date in India hasn’t been revealed by the brand, but as per the teaser shared by the company, the launch the phone is just around the corner. While the launch date is not yet known, we now expect the handset to be launched in the second half of the month, if leaks and rumours are anything to go by.
The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G specifications for the India market could well be very similar to the Chinese model.

The phone sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED display with 2,400×1,080 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate. There will be a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC which will be paired with 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage.
This phone will run on Android 11-based ColorOS custom skin. As far as the connectivity options are concerned, it will come with 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port. It will be powered by a 4,350mAh battery and there will be supported by 65W fast-charging.
We now take a look at the cameras, the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G has a quad-camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary sensor, and will also have 8MP lens that will have a 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. There will also be a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP mono portrait lens.
Apart from this, there is also a 32MP snapper on the front that will be used for selfies and video chats. The phone measures 159.7×73.2×7.6mm mm and will weigh 173 grams. The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G price in China is RMB 3,399 (approx Rs 38,300) for the 8GB/128GB variant and RMB 3,799 (around Rs 42,800) for the 12GB/256GB model.
