Poco is all set to launch its next smartphone launch in India. The company has already launched Poco F2 Pro globally for the Indian market and now, it is all set to launch this new phone. It is being called the Poco M2 Pro and now key details of the smartphone have been revealed in Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliances databases.
As per GSMArena, the SIG listing says that the Poco M2 Pro will be launched with MIUI 11 and Bluetooth 5.0. The website also informs that the declaration ID of the phone will be the same as one of the Redmi Note 9 phones.
There is information available on the Wi-Fi Alliance, and as per it, the listing says that the phone will be chugging along on Android 10 and it has also been confirmed that the Poco M2 Pro will be running the dual-band Wi-Fi. GSMArena also said that the “gram” kernel source will be the same as the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
What these revelations have also done that there have now been speculations that Poco M2 Pro could well be rebranded as Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Before the official launch of the phone, Poco M2 Pro has already made a number of appearances on the web and the phone was spotted on Xiaomi’s India RF exposure page last month.
Poco is currently creating a lot of noise around its next audio device. The company even crowd sourced the name for its upcoming truly wireless earbuds – it will officially be called Poco Pop Buds, and these will lock horns with the Realme Buds Air when it is introduced in India.
The important features of the phone include 64-megapixel rear camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G chip and up to 8GB of RAM. It will also come with up to 256GB storage.
