Realme X Realme X2 and X2 Pro get updates

Realme X, X2 and X2 Pro smartphones are now getting a number of OS updates with new features and security improvements. The Realme X has started receiving and OTA for the March 2020 security update, Realme X and X2 Pro have got Realme UI which is based on Android 10 with new features.

The planned introduction will be rolled out on the Realme X smartphones and it will bring the version number to RMX1901EX_11.C.02. Now, apart from the March security patch, this update also fixes the probabilistic issue of stuck after upgrade, the error of boot animation display, as well as low stuck issue when using the third-party applications. Not only this, it also takes care of the system power consumption.

Realme X2 Android 10-based Realme UI update

Realme X2 users will also get one major update and this will bring Realme UI based on Android 10. This will include new visuals, optimisations, Navigation Gesture 3.0, Focus Mode, new charging animation and pause feature for screen recording. There will also be TalkBack floating improvements and there will also be new wallpapers, customisation options for apps size.

Also, there will be an optimised camera UI and Timer UI with sound. There is the Album interface which has been slightly tweaked along with new Album recommendations and search history. Both these are available in the setting app. As far as the battery interface is concerned, one can also see updated decimals display during charging.

There are other changes which have been made to the Smart Side bar as well and this includes “Assistive Ball Opacity” and “Hide Assistive Ball on Fullscreen App.” Not only this, the update also adds YouTube Music application.

Now if you see, Realme X2 smartphone will also get the same set of features as per the latest OS update except for the updated decimals display during charging. Also, there will be no added YouTube Music app as well.
