Samsung Galaxy Buds Live review

Samsung Galaxy Buds

The first Galaxy Buds from Samsung was something very different when compared to the several copies of Apple AirPods. Now, with its latest Galaxy Buds Live, Samsung has gone another notch ahead.

These wireless earbuds come in five colour options – and these include black, blue, bronze, red and white. All the different colours have a glossy effect which does make them stand out as soon as they are plugged into your ears. The bean shape is one that is great when it comes to grabbing attention – it fits in just perfectly.

The earbuds are extremely light and it feels great even when you are lying down. It also works well when you are working out and it will never act as an interference. It should be said here that the audio quality of the Galaxy Buds Live is pretty impressive.

You can easily enjoy the desired sound for songs from several popular genres that include indie, R&B, and dance. Old Hip-Hop tracks will boom in your ears and will give you a great feel.

The Galaxy Buds Live have an active noise cancellation, but it does not work as expected. There is still a lot of noise that seeps in with the Galaxy Buds Live even when ANC is turned on. However, it needs to be said here that it does cancel out some noise at times, but then it could have been better.

If we speak about the battery life, it should be said that it is as good as the advertisements. The buds lasts for a little over five hours – it is quick to charge so even if it is plugged for 15 minutes, it will give you a minimum of one hour of listening time. It also supports Qi wireless charging so that’s another good thing about it.

All in all, the Galaxy Buds Live is quite good for its unique design, good audio quality as well as decent battery life.
