At its ‘Life Unstoppable’ virtual event, Samsung announced a new fitness tracker, Galaxy Fit 2. The company will launch the wearable later this year. However, the full specifications and price of the fitness tracker was not revealed.
The company said that Galaxy Fit 2 will be launched with a slim and lightweight design. This phone offers long-lasting battery and advanced tracking features. Samsung also went on to add that Galaxy Fit 2 can automatically detect and track up to five different types of activities. And these include sleep monitoring, heart rate, distance, as well as calories burned.
The device will also come with a 3D glass display and support for over 70 watch face options. Now, if we talk about the battery, Samsung said Galaxy Fit 2 can last up to 15 days. Not only this, the battery life can be extended to 21 days and this depends on the user’s settings and preferences.
According to Wearable.com, Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 will be having a 1.1-inch touchscreen display with an AMOLED panel. This new fitness tracker will be a great blend of Galaxy Fit and affordable Galaxy Fit e.
The other features include a plastic module, silicon bands as well as a 159mAh battery.
Apart from Galaxy Fit 2, Samsung has also rolled out the Galaxy Tab A7. The new tablet will have a 10.4-inch display with a metal finish as well as symmetrical bezel on the sides. The device is expected to deliver an 80% screen-to-body ratio.
The tablet is also equipped with four Dolby Atmos speakers. Samsung said that the Tab A7 delivers a “long-lasting battery.”
