The last few months have seen a number of leaks and rumours which point towards a number of leaks and rumours and point towards the possibility of a Samsung product launching. It sees a possibility of Samsung launching a lite variant of the Galaxy S20. It is expected to be called the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition – this phone is all set to be launched for an October launch.
Now, ahead of the launch, information about the device seems to have leaked online and the image of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition suggests that the phone will come with a flat screen. Courtesy of @OnLeaks and Pricebaba, the images are CAD-based and they confirm a number if interesting details about the same.
There were earlier reports but there was little information about the phone available – most of the stories has discussed the different names which it could be launched under. Over the last couple of days, the phone has been referred to as the “Galaxy S20 Pen Edition” – and this an S-Pen stylus totting device. The previous speculations called it the “S20 Fan Edition” or simply the S20 Lite.
This new leak also says that the phone could come with a display that ranges between 6.4 and 6.5 inches – and this will be larger than the Galaxy S20 (6.2”) but will be smaller than the S20+ (6.7”).
The renders also says that the overall size of the device will be the same as the Galaxy S20+ because of the bezels around the screen. So, the final measurement will be tipped at 161 x 73 x 8 mm. The phone will also have the same battery capacity as the Galaxy S20+ with a 4,500 mAh pack.
By all possibilities and reports, the Galaxy S20 Lite could well be a slightly watered-down version of the Galaxy S20.
