Vivo S5 is the third device in Vivo S-series, the Vivo S1 and S1 pro being the other two in the lineup.
According to recent market reports, Chinese mobile phone maker, Vivo is planning to launch a new smartphone in China. The device in question here, as per reports, is the Vivo S5. This device is going to join Vivo S series line up which already has Vivo S1 and Vivo S1 pro in it. A recent teaser from Vivo confirmed the launch date as 14 November. Few hours ago, a new leak about Vivo S5 unveiled some key features of the device.
The Chinese leakster Digital Chaat Station is said to be behind this leak. The leakster claims to reveal key features and specification of Vivo S5 smartphone along with an estimated price.
Vivo S5 features, specifications leaked
The leakster revealed that upcoming Vivo S5 will be a full-screen design. The full-screen design will be achieved through a punch-hole setup for front camera. There will be a unique diamond shaped camera setup for primary rear cameras, which was already revealed in previous reports.
The Vivo S5 is likely to come with a 6.44-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution working on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM. A 4,100mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging, makes sure to check all in-demand features.
The diamond shaped quadcamera setup is said to consist 48-megapixel, an 8-megapixel, 5-megapixel, and 2-megapixel sensors, with a 32-megapixel sensor for selfie camera. Lastly, it will run Android Pie out-of-the-box.
According to leaks, Vivo S5 will cost close to RMB 2,000 in China, i.e. around Rs 20,500. This device is set to launch on November 14 in China but there are no words about its release in India.
