Vivo Y51 with 1080p screen, 48MP triple cameras launched

Continuing its phone launching spree, Vivo has launched a new smartphone in India called the Y51. This new phone is replete with a number of features that include 1080p display, triple cameras on the back, and a premium design that has become the norm of the Vivo V50 series.

This phone is being marketed as a budget smartphone but it still has the 48MP camera on the back which will make the Vivo Y51 stand out.

The Vivo Y51 has been priced at Rs 17,990 for the single RAM and storage version. It has been made available in Crystal Symphony and Titanium Sapphire. Also, it can be bought with a number of payment options that include Bajaj Finserv, IDFC First Bank, and HDB Financial Services among others.

What are the specifications?

This phone comes with Android 10 software with the company’s Funtouch OS. It has a 6.47-inch 1080p iView display but does not have a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series processor. Now, it can be either the Snapdragon 660 or the Snapdragon 665 processor. 

This phone has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and there is support for microSD card for up to 1TB. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo Y51 has a triple camera setup on the back and this includes a 48MP main sensor. There is also a wide-angle camera and for selfies there is a 16MP front camera, along with Aura Screen Light features. 

The phone will be powered by a 5000mAh battery and this supports 18W fast charging. As per Vivo, the battery can provide up to 14.3 hours of online movie streaming in HD quality on a single charge.
