We got a look at Nokia’s upcoming feature phones thanks to these leaked images


Owing to the pandemic, HMD Global has been forced to push back several launches but now the company is all set to unveil the new Nokia-branded smartphones as well as feature phones. 

Nokia recently tweeted a teaser for the launch of its new smartphones in India, the company will also make an addition to the “basic phones” category with a new feature phone which will come with 4G connectivity.

As per GizChina, Nokia India will release the details of this new device on August 25 and if reports are to be believed, this is when Nokia C3 will make its debut. Now, Nokia is already expected to launch a few more feature phones this year and as per the renders, we have managed to discover a few details. 

So, now we will discuss one of the leaked devices which is a new variant of the Nokia 215. This might be launched as the Nokia 215 (2020) or Nokia 215 4G and as per reports, they could well be the most affordable 4G phone in Nokia’s portfolio so far. This feature phone will, however, not be launched with a camera. 

Now, there is another phone which could be the Nokia 225, as per the renders. This Nokia 225 will be launched with 4G LTE and will extend support to apps like YouTube and Facebook.

As per reports from NokiaMob, the Nokia 225 has already got the FCC nod and model numbers which include TA-1316 and TA-1282 will be launched. As per the date on the display, these feature phones were slated to be released on August 3 but HMD Global has to postpone the launch due to COVID-19. 

Then there is a third feature phone which does yet have a name, but then there is the basic Nokia Leo Basic codename. This feature phone will also have WhatsApp and Facebook support. All the three feature phones Nokia has lined will have KaiOS.
