Xiaomi will soon be introducing a new variant of its Redmi 9 Power that will have better RAM and storage combination as per reports from 91Mobiles. s
As per the report, this new version will have 128GB of storage as well as 6GB of RAM. And this model will be priced at ₹12,999. However, there is no official word on when this new device will actually be launched.
This new model will join the current 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB models, which are already available for ₹10,999 and ₹11,999, respectively.
Xiaomi had launched Redmi 9 Power in India in December last year. And this phone is a repackaged version of the Redmi Note 9 4G that was launched in China earlier. It is available in India in black, blue, red, and green colour options.
This phone will be available in 6.53-inch full HD+ display that will have a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor that is coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. Also, the phone will come with a microSD card slot that will extend expandable storage up to 512GB.
Apart from all the features, the phone will come with a quad-camera setup. It will have a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. And it will also have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
There is a 6,000mAh battery that will power this phone and it will come with 18W charging support. The smartphone will ship with a 22.5W charger. As far as the software is concerned, the Redmi 9 Power has MIUI 12. As far as connectivity is concerned, Redmi 9 Power will extend support to dual 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port. Also, the phone will have support to an IR blaster.
