Black Ops Cold War servers are finally live and now, you can jump into a match and will be able to start the campaign or take on the zombie hordes.
The game will be live on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 as well as Xbox Series X|S. It can be availed in India for Rs 4,500 for the standard version. The ultimate version of the same will be priced at around 7,000 Rupees.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War” needs 130 GB of space. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’ and ‘Modern Warfare’ combined will surpass 320 GB on next-gen systems.
Now, it needs to be mentioned here that while the previous generation consoles like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have a doable 93-95 GB requirement. The platforms like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S that are eye-watering.
Eager Black Ops Cold War players will now need the following available hard drive space.

- Xbox One — 93GB
- PlayStation 5 — 133 GB
- Xbox Series X|S — 136 GB
- PC — 125GB on ultra graphics; 35 GB for multiplayer only, 82 GB for full game
There is good news in store as the Call of Duty allows segmented downloading. The game is categorised in different chunks and this includes, campaign and multiplayer. This will allow you to choose and delete these parts in order to free up the space.
At the same time, there will be third-party hard drive expansions on its way, but then, it is quite strange that these new consoles are not being launched with a minimum of a terabyte of hard drive space. There are premium models that raise the bar, and hence, there is still a lot to be desired.
This edition of the Call of Duty is set during the Cold War. This was a period when there were major frictions between USA and Soviet Union. Both these nations resorted to “proxy wars” – where there were regional conflicts to gain global influence.
