Fau-G: The timing of this launch is perfect as the music game will be released later this month when IPL will kickstart and the company is hoping to cash in.

Two days after the Indian government banned the PUBG Mobile app ban in the country, there has been a surge in the number of Indian game developers trying to tap into the void. However, one of the many to introduce India’s alternative to PUBG is nCore Games which announced new Indian version of PUBG Mobile called FAU-G or Fearless And United: Guards.

The game is slated to be released pretty soon. nCore Games will also reveal the release date and other details about the game in the days to come.nCore Games has been co-founded by Vishal Gondal who is also the CEO of GOQII and as per him, the project was always in the pipeline and that there are no intentions to compete with PUBG.

“FAU-G was always in the pipeline and we were preparing for an October release. The ban on PUBG Mobile was coincidental,” Gondal told

The timing of this launch of FAU-G  is perfect as the music game will be released later this month when IPL will kickstart and the company is hoping to cash in.

“There’s a belief that Indian game developers can’t produce good quality games, at nCore we want to prove that mentality wrong and bring out games that can compete with international games,” Gondalfurther added.

The game was unveiled by Bollywood star Akshay Kumar. United-Guards has also pledged to donate 20 per cent of its revenue to the government’s fund for paramilitary forces called Bharat Ke Veer which was set up after the 2019 Pulwama terror attack.

AkshayKumar called the project syncing perfectly with the government’s push for self-reliance and indigenous enterprises which was launched in the wake of the coronavirus crisis and is called “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.
