There is an interesting update which has started being rolled out by Tencent for PUBG Mobile Lite users. This 0.17.0 Beta update will bring the much-awaited Payload mode to the game along with some new features.
One of the most noticeable change which can be seem after the latest update is in the Payload mode. This feature will also be made available on the beta version of PUBG Mobile and it essentially incorporates helicopters and rocket launchers to the game.
PUBG Mobile Lite 0.17.0 beta update also introduces a new Falcon companion. Now, this bird moght not be having any functionality, but it follows the in-game avatar around and then sits on your shoulder to add some character to the new avatar.
Also, the beta update brings a number of bug fixes and improvements. The developers have not yet announced when the final version of the PUBG Mobile Lite 0.17.0 will be released for the masses, but now that the beta version is chugging along, we can expect the final build to be released pretty soon.
The last stable update PUBG Mobile Lite received was the 0.16.0 which helped in adding “Cherry Blossom” in the Varenga map. With this, players got a chance to search for “Picnic Baskets” under trees.
All these picnic baskets had flare guns or “festive Paint Grenades”. These flare guns are for air drops which were now new, but then the paint grenades could be used on enemies to make them more noticeable as they would be standing out from the crowd due the colours sprayed on them.
