PUBG Mobile is drawing ever so close to make its comeback as PUBG India Private Limited has registered as an Indian company. The much-anticipated Indian version has kept fans in the edge and earlier this month, the company had put out coming soon posts and also a teaser to the trailer.
The game had announced an Indian version but it was not enough to satisfy the powers in the Indian government. Hence, this is the reason MEITY did not react to the comeback announcement.
Hence, PUBG has made this big move. They will register as India company with Indian directors. It has been made to fulfil the government norms. It has been made as per the industry experts and thus, should pave the way for start of PUBG Operations in the country but in a phased manner.
This game has been registered as an Indian company in Bangalore, Karnataka and it will be a privately held company. However, we cannot say for sure if the ministry of corporate Affairs has given the green light.
The company is registered under directors:
– KUMAR KRISHNAN IYER:
He will be director in 10 companies that include Spotify India and AccuWeather.
– Sean (Hyunil) Sohan)
He is the head of Corporate Development at KRAFTON/PUBG Corp.
The Corporation has put aside $100 Million USD Investment as promised and it seems we can hope to see a comeback made by the esports scene in India. The game will hire software engineers for the game to be developed further locally.
There will be job postings on LinkedIn and it will possibly be one of the many to come. It seems as if the Corporation is well on its way to fulfill its promises of developing the gaming and esports industry in India.
