iPhone XS is available in India at a starting price of Rs 89,900
Ending months of wait, Apple finally launched its latest iPhone series which features three new iPhone models. This follows the line-up of last year and now there is also an ‘affordable’ iPhone 11 along with the premium iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
As far as the pro versions of iPhone 11 are concerned, they come with upgrades in the camera department, as well as tweaks have been made to the design with other minor improvements. If we consider the pricing, iPhone 11 Pro starts at the same launch price of Rs 99,900 which is similar to last year’s iPhone XS.
As things stand right now, iPhone XS is available in India at a starting price of Rs 89,900. So, what are the differences between the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone XS?
We start with the design – Apple’s latest iPhones are indeed different as they have square-shaped camera modules. As far as the iPhone 11 Pro is concerned, there are three cameras placed on a square panel. However, iPhone 11 Pro still has a glass body, but now it also has a matte finish. If we compare it to iPhone XS’s glass body, we find that it has a more glossy finish. Also, the cameras are placed vertically on the corner.
The new iPhone 11 Pro is powered by the new A13 Bionic chip and this has a faster machine learning and low-power design. On the other hand, the iPhone XS has the A12 Bionic chip. As per Apple, the iPhone 11 Pro’s battery will last up to four hours longer than the iPhone XS. If we compare it to the battery on iPhone XS, there is an improvement by only 30 minutes.
If we consider all the features, there are clear upgrades which have been made to new iPhone 11 Pro. Also, there is a new design, and extra camera lens as well as a faster chipset and battery. However, the iPhone XS is still a solid option despite the fact that it is a year old.
