Ahead of the launch of Google Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL at the Google IO in San Francisco, new leaks of the phone have revealed few very interesting features. For starters, both the devices will come at a lower price and hence, will be cheaper than the existing Pixel 3 phones.
This price cut was expected as the hardware has been clamped down, but the camera will be the same as the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL. Also, it is clear from the leaks that the new Pixel phones will have the 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature, which interestingly, was removed from the higher priced Pixel 3.

Thus, both Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL will come out with thick bezels. As far as the camera is concerned, both Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL come with a single front camera. Rumors are rife that it will be the same 8-megapixel camera and will have a wide-angle lens which comes with the front camera system in the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL.
So far what are the features we know about them, based entirely on leaks:
- Both phones will come with 4GB RAM and will also be expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor
- Both the Pixel phones will come with 64GB internal storage, and support for eSIM and squeezable frame
- As far as the battery is concerned, the Pixel 3a is going to have a 3000 mAh battery while the Pixel 3a XL will be packed with 3400 mAh battery.
- Both the phones will have the same 12-megapixel sensor, which will lead to excellent, Pixel famous, images.
