Motorola has rolled out its latest Android One smartphone on Friday – the Motorola One Action has been released and it is the third smartphone in the Moto One series which features a triple-camera setup with an ultra-wide-angle lens.
As of now, it will be first made available in Brazil, Mexico and Europe and will be priced at 259 Euros (Rs 20,500 approximately). As per reports, Motorola is also all set to bring its new Android One phone to other markets including India. The latest Motorola One Action will be launched in India on August 23.
The biggest takeaway from Motorola One Action is the ultra-wide-angle camera and this stands out as it allows the users the shoot videos in landscape format in vertical mode. Moto calls it an action camera which offers a GoPro-like experience on its new phone. As far as the ultra-wide angle lens is concerned, it has the 117-degree field of view which allows shooting videos four times more than the frame’s actual capacity.
Not only this, but the triple-camera setup also houses a 12-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel depth sensor, and 16-megapixel camera. There are outstanding features which include enhanced video stabilisation, shot optimization, smart composition as well as auto smile capture. For selfies, there’s a 12-megapixel punch-hole camera.
If we take a look at the screen, there is a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display which comes with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Also, the phone is powered by an octa-core processor which is paired with a 4GB RAM. Not only this, it also offers a 128GB built-in storage with a microSD card for storage expansion.
If we take a look at the battery, we find that the Motorola One Action is powered by a 3,500mAh battery which could well be enough to last a day on a single charge. Also, the company promises around 11 hours of movie playback, 47 hours of audio playback and six-and-a-half days of standby time.
The connectivity options include dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G VoLTE.
