Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO launched a new smartphone OPPO A9 in India for Rs 15,490. This device sports a 6.53-inch Full HD display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Also, the screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. And, the smartphone has 16 MP 2 MP rear dual camera setup as well as 16MP front camera for selfies.
Also, the phone has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor as well as a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, and is backed by a 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
“For our Indian consumers, price is a big consideration. Therefore, with the OPPO A9, our aim is to offer consumers an exceptional experience at an affordable price,” Charles Wong, CEO, OPPO India, said in a statement.
As has always been the case with OPPO, its camera is the USP – the front camera is equipped with advanced technology and can identify over 130 forehead points as well as a face slimming feature.
As far as the software is concerned, the device runs on Android 9.0 Pie, is based on ColorOS 6.0 and packs a 4020mAh battery. Dual SIM, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS and a MicroUSB port form the different connectivity options.
Oppo A9 price in India
This phone has been priced in India at Rs. 15,490 for the lone 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option. Starting July 20, this smartphone will be available for purchase from both online and offline stores. At this range, Oppo A9 will be locked in a battle with the likes of Samsung Galaxy M30 which is priced at Rs 14,990, Honor 10 Lite, Realme 3 Pro which is purchased at Rs 14,190, as well as the Redmi Note 7 Pro which is available at Rs 14,500.
