Realme 5 Pro, Realme 5 launched on August 20: Here’s what to expect

Realme 5 Pro & realme5

Sale starts on September 4

After creating a massive splash, Realme launched its new smartphone series in India on August 20. This new series features Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro smartphones.
If we take a look at the expectations, the Realme 5 series will feature a quad-camera setup, which will make it the first smartphone with this specification. Not only this, the Realme 5 Pro will offer a 48-megapixel camera.
Both Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro will be available for sale on Flipkart from September 4. The launch event was scheduled to start at 12:30 pm.
Realme has already confirmed ahead of the launch that the new phones will exclusively be available on Flipkart. Also, it has been teasing the users by highlighting a number of key features. We take a look at what to expect from the Realme 5 series.
The biggest attraction is bound to be the quad-camera setup as this will also feature a primary sensor as well as the ultra wide lens, super macro lens, and a depth sensor. If we take a look at the Realme 5 Pro, the primary camera will be the 48-megapixel sensor. Also, the quad cameras are optimised for low-light photos and will be equipped to offer portrait mode as well. If we focus on the ultra-wide-angle lens, it comes with 119-degree field-of-view. Also, both these phones come with a feature ‘Nightscape’ mode for low-light photography.
Realme 5 series comes with a dewdrop styled notch upfront. The quad cameras are housed vertically on the top left corner of the phone. As for colours, the Realme 5 series will be available in blue, green and greyish black finishes.
Realme did not launch series 4 phones because the number 4 is considered as unlucky in China.
