Realme will release its new 64MP quad-camera smartphone before Diwali. This announcement was made by the company at a special camera-centric event in New Delhi on Thursday, August 8. Realme also gave a proper account of the upcoming quad-camera technology which will be available in at least three Realme smartphones before Diwali.
As things stand now, the first phone will launch with this quad-camera setup and this will be called the Realme 5.
Despite a lot of speculations, the upcoming phone still remains a mystery. However, we do know that the quad-camera system will include a high-resolution 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor, as well as an ultra-wide-angle camera, a 4cm macro lens and a 2x telephoto camera.
Also, this upcoming phone will aim to offer versatility as the company aims to offer the best cameras in its segment. It has to be mentioned here that Realme recently launched the Realme X in India with a 48MP dual-camera setup, which made it one of the best camera phones in the sub-Rs 20,000 segment.
After this success, the company is looking to expand and take things up by a notch by offering multi-camera solutions, ultra-resolution sensors and advanced features.
“We have been working closely with Samsung ISOCELL and created prototypes to start our development and testing work before GW1 was manufactured. Our goal was to make a camera with the highest resolution in the market,” the company said.
Taking to Twitter, the company also explained the different features in the camera.
“The new Full-Function Quad Camera System on our smartphones will be packed with various features like Ultra Resolution, Super Wide Angle, Ultra Macro and Ultra Nightscape to provide our users with an excellent camera experience,” Realme stated in a tweet.
