The Rs 18,000 phone will be launched on July 9
If reports are to be believed, Realme will soon launch a special edition of its latest flagship phone, Realme X. This will be based on the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home, and will also be rolled out in a special package and a new design. This new and special edition of Realme X will initially be made available in China.
This new phone will be priced at CNY 1,799 which translates to Rs 18,000 approximately and will be launched on July 9. It will come out with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
Incidentally, Realme X will be the company’s debut in China. It is no surprise that it will be the most premium Realme phone so far. It will be released with an edge-to-edge display as well as with a pop-up selfie camera. The phone also has an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The phone will come with a 6.53-inch AMOLED display (2340 x 1080 pixels) as well as with 19.5:9 aspect ratio which will be approximately 91.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It will also sport a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor as well as a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. If you love taking selfies, this smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera.
It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 processor and will have up to 8GB of RAM as well 128 GB built-in data storage. It will also come with a 3,765mAh battery as well as a VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. The other top features include Dolby Atmos support, UFS 2.1, and Hyper Boost 2.0. Realme X runs on Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.
After China launch, Realme X will be launched in India in the second half of the year and will be made available at a price of around Rs 18,000 in India.
