Samsung Galaxy S10 e launched – Affordable with exciting new features

Samsung Galaxy S10e

The phone is extremely compact and the moment you get it out of the box, you can grip it perfectly in your hand, and it will not fall down. It is really light too as it weighs just 150 grams.

Samsung, which is known for rolling out flagship models with exorbitant costs, has tried to buck this trend, and in many ways, has tried to go the Apple way. Samsung has now launched three flagship models and in addition to the typical S10 and S10+, it has also launched an affordable handset in Galaxy S10e.

This is the best bet as the features in Galaxy S10 e are almost the same as S10 and S10+, but the price is significantly slashed. Apart from the price, the look and texture of Galaxy S10e is a lot like the iPhone XR.

There is one significant difference in Samsung Galaxy S10e as it does not have an in-display fingerprint sensor, curved display or telephoto lens, but then even without these features, there are no problems with the overall experience of the Samsung Galaxy S10e.

First and foremost, the phone is extremely compact and the moment you get it out of the box, you can grip it perfectly in your hand, and it will not fall down. It is really light too as it weighs just 150 grams.

Galaxy S10e has a flat display instead of a curved edge display, but then this does not compromise on the premium display as compared to the S10 and S10+. There is also a 3D curved glass on the back and it also has wireless charging.

Camera:

There is nothing much to write home about as far as the camera is concerned. It has a triple camera system like the S10 and S10+, the S10e only gets two rear cameras, but then it loses out on the 12MP telephoto lens as well as optical zoom capabilities.

The one saving grace is that S10e has the 12MP wide-angle lens along with the Dual Aperture (f/1.5-2.4) with OIS and 16MP ultra wide-angle f/2.2 sensor.

Performance and Software

The Galaxy S10e has the Exynos 9820 chipset which is like the S10 and S10+ in India. Also, there is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Battery

It has a 3,100mAh battery, which is almost 300mAh smaller than the S10 and 1,000mAh lighter than S10+. What this means is that you won’t be getting a long-lasting battery and it might not exceed beyond a day.
