Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi on Monday launched a new smartphone in India – Redmi Note 7S. This will be the second smartphone in the country which will be packed with a 48-megapixel camera. It also has a glass back panel as well as a rear fingerprint sensor.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7s will be made available in 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB variants. As far the base model is concerned, it will be available at Rs 10,999. The 4GB model will come at a cost of Rs 12,999. The two phones will be rolled out in Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red, and the Onyx Black colour variants.
It will go up on sale on May 23 from 12 PM and will be available on Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Homes. Also, it will be made available in offline stores to start as soon as from the next day.
As far as the display is concerned, this Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S has a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with a dot notch on the front. Also, the front and back of the phone are protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor – it has been rolled in two variants – 3GB of RAM with 32GB storage as well as 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.
As far as the battery is concerned, this Redmi Note 7S has a 4,000mAh battery with Type-C and Quick Charge 4.0 support. If we take a look at the camera, this phone comes with 48-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual rear cameras with PDAF, EIS and AI portrait mode.
The selfie camera is a 13-megapixel selfie camera which has an AI portrait mode support. The other very key features include a fingerprint sensor and an AI Face Unlock, dual-SIM (hybrid slot), VoLTE, P2i and a splash-resistant coating, and IR blaster.
