Fitbit launches Versa 2 – Find out price, specifications and biggest surprise

A year after launching Fitbit, the fitness giant has now released the successor, the Fitbit Versa 2 – in India for Rs 20,999. Along with the second generation smartwatch, Fitbit has also released the Aria Air fitness scale and a premium health service in India. Both these devices will be on sale later in September.
As far as the features and specifications are concerned, the Fitbit Versa 2 comes with an AMOLED display and this is also water-resistant up to 50 meters. There is also an anodized aluminium finish which makes it very light once worn for long periods of time. The newly launched Versa 2 also has a faster processor and the battery has more power and this has enough to last for a good two days.
There are also a number of sensors which help in measuring details such as your quality of sleep, your sleep cycle, as well as the oxygen levels in the bloodstream. The best feature of this smartwatch is the presence of Amazon Alexa. This watch is released with an on-device microphone which allows the users to interact with Amazon’s virtual assistant directly from their smartwatches. Also, it has the Spotify app and if the user is a Spotify Premium customer, she can control music and podcasts directly from the smartwatch.
The Versa 2 is available in a carbon case, petal with a copper rose aluminium case, and is priced at Rs 20,999. There is also the Versa 2 Special Edition, which is available in navy and pink with a copper rose aluminium case and will be available at Rs 22,999 in India.
This watch will be available in stores from September 15. In India, it will be available at Reliance Digital, Croma, Helios and other different other retailers offline and online on Amazon and Flipkart.
