iQOO enters Indian market- Here are all the details of India’s first 5G phone

IQOO has gone official in India. Now the operations will be different in India as compared to its operations in China. The brand has entered India as an independent entity and the company claims that it will not be associated with Vivo in any shape or form.

The brand also confirmed that it is working on a number of new phones which it will roll out plans to in India through the year. What needs to be mentioned here that the first of these will be a 5G ready Snapdragon 865 totting smartphone.

There has no exact date for the launch, as per India Today, a February 2020 India launch for the device is expected. This will be the first smartphone to be launched with a 5G ready Snapdragon 865 chipset in India.

The announcement of the entry into India was announced by IQOO’s Director of Marketing, Gagan Arora. Speaking with India Today, he said that the company wants to enter the Indian market as a brand which brings best in class performance with its phones.

Arora has also announced that India will be a focus market for IQOO and that it will bring industry first innovations to the country with all its products. India Today also reports that this commitment will be highlighted in the smartphone which the company is expected to release next month. There will also be an innovation as far as the battery technology is concerned.

Arora added that the aforementioned device will be a premium segment device and this will lock horns with flagships from Samsung, Oppo and OnePlus. However, it will stay true to the roots of IQOO and it will also include a number of special gaming feature which will be bolstered with both hardware and software solutions.

Gaming remains one of the big focus and it will be one of the aspects which the company will focus the most on all the upcoming phones.
