The Momentum True Wireless 2 is built on the same design as its predecessor – one will get the same charging case albeit the shade will be darker and there will be a minimalist look to the overall structure.
The earbuds are smaller, but they fit in perfectly in my ears. While they fit in the ear hole well, but then they stick out a bit too much, and hence, they are perhaps uncomfortable in the longer run.
As far as the sound is concerned, this is where the earbuds shine out. Now, when the EQ set to neutral, these buds sound slightly warm up to the ears and it is awesome if you love listening to rock music. Well, if you want to branch out to more boom for pop and EDM tunes one needs to just increase the frequencies up.
There is excellent spatial resolution given the size of these earbuds and this means you can perceive different instruments that are placed at different distances really well.
Not only this, there is active noise cancellation is, but then the user cannot choose the level of ANC —it’s just on or off. And although, it works perfectly fine indoors, then when one is outside, it might not work as better. And when, if you turn it on, one will be consuming the battery a lot faster.
The Momentum True Wireless 2 can easily connect with a smartphone and you do not have to individually pair the two buds.
The Momentum True Wireless 2 has a winner in the battery. One can use the earphones right through the day and not be bothered without charging it. The buds themselves can last well over five hours, and there is a charging case which even gives 21 hours of playtime.
The entire package comes at around ₹24,990 and yes, this is way too expensive.
