OnePlus 7 Pro is just a couple of days old, but the phone has already created ripples in the market. If the initial reviews and responses are anything to go by, this phone could well grab the market and upset its balance once and for all.
As per a post by Twitter tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), this particular handset has been a sensation in China and people are falling head over heels to get it in their hands. So much so, that the consumers are have placed pre-orders on more than one million units of the phone. The post also said that the pre-orders were far higher than initial stocking. The post also hinted that there were many Samsung users who were seriously contemplating to sell their Galaxy S10 in order to get the OnePlus 7 Pro.
There is little doubt over the worth of OnePlus 7 Pro, but is it worth dumping the Samsung Galaxy S10 in its favour? There is very little to choose between the two phones and perhaps, apart from the 90Hz refresh rate display and the pop-up selfie camera, the features of both the phones are relatively same. Also, the Galaxy S10 offers IP68 water as well as a dustproof build which is not present even on the OnePlus 7 Pro. Also, the OneUI onboard is far more appealing to hardcore fans of Samsung as compared to OnePlus’ Oxygen or Hydrogen OS.
Now there were will arguments shot across from the OnePlus corner and there are users who are finding the OnePlus 7 Pro design more appealing primarily because of pop-up selfie shooter. Although, the phone is quite expensive, which makes it more endearing is the fact that it is priced lesser than the Galaxy S10.
Both these models are packed with a Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset. Hence, we can safely assume that people are more fascinated with OnePlus, not because of the features, but because of the cheaper price when compared with Samsung.
