Music streaming company Spotify has now started introducing a new set of features which would help users keep a tab on the new releases by their favourite artists with ease.
The company is also introducing the Follow Feed feature to its mobile and desktop-based platforms and this would allow users to keep a track of the new albums and music tracks which are released by all their favourite artists.
This feature was first spotted by Jane Manchun Wong, as he reverse engineers apps in order to highlight all their upcoming features. If the screenshot is anything to go by, the feature shared by Wong shows that the Follow Feed subsection of the platform has “new releases from the artists that you follow and more.”
There is a report by the XDA Developers which says that the platform has started introducing the new feature to its users and that it should be available to all the users in the coming days. As per this report, the feature is available as a part of Spotify version 184.108.40.2061.
Also, the company has introduced this update on its iOS-based app that would allow users to use Siri voice commands to play songs on the Apple Watch. Hence, the Apple Watch users with devices running on watchOS 6 or higher can only say “Hey Siri, play music on Spotify” to play music via the app on their smartwatches.
